Back to my other poetry.

Back to Take Me to Nirvana.

Night

The night was long and cold
We watched as the silvery, soundless moon
Slid across the sky
And wondered how long it was from the dawn
The dew began to form
Like so many tiny drops of glass
Settling silently on the delicate petals or roses
And harsh stone buildings alike
Turning everthing into a crystal palace
The moon the icy king of it all
Indeed the night was long
But the moon's reign was not eternal
The sun shone it's brilliant golden rays
Of light through the darkness
The day had come once again
